Biography

Dr. Amritha Suhasini Wickramage is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona, where she teaches across the undergraduate and graduate curriculum and brings a uniquely interdisciplinary and international perspective to student learning. She earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology and Microbiology, with a minor in Genetics, from the University of Arizona. Her career spans academia in Sri Lanka, industry in New Zealand, and academia in the United States, enabling her to offer students both breadth and authenticity in professional preparation.
