Biography
Dr. Martin grew up on a small farm in Enterprise, AL. Being the youngest, he was in charge of feeding the animals. This is where his passion for animal husbandry began. Dr. Martin graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Afterwards, he joined Dairy Veterinary Services (DVS) in Chandler, Arizona as an associate and eventually became a partner in the practice. During his time at DVS, Dr. Martin was part of his dairy clients' team to improve the operation by focusing on animal health and employee training. In 2021, Dr. Martin decided to leave private practice and began teaching at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. When not working, he likes to spend time with his family, personal herd of cattle, and wake surfing.
