Biography
Carmen Young MFN, RD completed her Bachelors in Dietetics and Masters in Food and Nutrition at Bowling Green State University. During this time, she was heavily involved in nutrition research pertaining to athletes, athletic performance as well as graduate mentorship and college freshman health and behaviors. She is a former 4-year collegiate Division I swimmer at Bowling Green State University and spent an additional 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Coach, coaching, measuring body composition and providing nutrition counseling to the team. She has worked as a Sports Dietitian at Rutgers University working with the gymnastics, rowing, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, volleyball and football team. During this time, she also worked closely with the Rutgers swim and dive team as the Director of Player Development helping to coach and fuel their athletes
