Biography
Matthew Christian Cornelius, MD attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his residency at Banner Good Samaritan. He is board-certified in General Psychiatry and an Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He teaches and supervises both medical students and psychiatric residents. He serves as the Psychiatric consultant and liaison to the Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix Liver and Kidney Transplant Program. He has been a consultant for patients with kidney and liver transplantation since 1999.

Teaching
Psychiatric Evaluation, Consultation and Management in patients with underlying liver and kidney disease. Teaching residents and medical students how evaluation and treatment can differ in patients with organ failure. Teaching evaluation and management of inpatient and outpatient anxiety disorders, mood disorders, thought disorders and catatonia.
