Biography

Christy Martin is a Clinical Year Lead Veterinarian at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, a position that includes both supporting students and clinical affiliates.  She is a 1999 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and has over 20 years of experience in small animal general practice.  She has a special interest in feline medicine, preventive care education, and enhancing the human/animal bond.  In 2023, Christy joined the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys educating and mentoring veterinary students as well as helping them prepare to start their careers.   She also enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with her husband and children on a small farm full of animals.
