  I collaborated with Dr. Elizabeth Schauer in the Music School on a choral piece titled, "Luminous Night of the Soul". This was a collaboration with the School of Music's Symphonic Choir. It was a 9 minute choral piece and she wanted to add in some dance/movement. I choreographed the piece for 3 of our BFA Musical Theatre students. We rehearsed in the evenings and on the weekends on our own and then met with the choir and musicians for a few rehearsals. It was a thrilling collaboration and we all loved the experience.

  Moving Beyond the Box was a virtual dance piece that I conceived, developed, directed, and choreographed. It was presented in the Tornabene Courtyard for the public--January 2022.

Creative Works

• Educator Advocate Program with Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE); Applied and was selected for this elite cohort of 15 people and was selected to be an Educator Advocate (EAP) for this important training.  In this five-day workshop I was trained to have the tools, training, and support from TIE to continue to amplify their consent-based, trauma-informed teaching impact with colleagues and students.
• Presenter on a panel: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; At the MTEA (Musical Theatre Educators Alliance) conference in NYC in January, 2019, I was aksed to be a co-presenter on a panel focusing on challenges facing recruitment in regards to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  I researched our challenges at UA with recruiting and retention.  Fellow presenters were from University of Miami, Elon University, Columbia College Chicago and American University.
• Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training and Certification; In February of 2024, I went through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training and was certified as a MHFA practitioner at the end of the course.   Mental Health First Aid takes the fear and hesitation out of starting conversations about mental health issues, substance abuse and other issues by improving understanding and providing an action plan.  I was given the tools to start a dialogue, so people can get the help they need. Mental Health First Aiders are a vital link, connecting those experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge with appropriate support.
