Biography
Faculty member at BUMCP since March 2018. Completed residency at Creighton
University Valley Wise Health system, earning the prestigious Teaching Resident of
the Year accolade. Furthered education with a Master of Public Health degree
from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, supported by a Fulbright
scholarship. Pioneered and assumed leadership of the Procedure team for the
Internal Medicine residency at Banner University Medical Center/Phoenix
(BUMCP) starting in July 2019. Demonstrates a profound dedication to Point-of-
Care Ultrasound (POCUS), holding multiple certifications from esteemed
organizations such as the American Academy of Chest Physicians, the Society of
Hospital Medicine, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Additionally, he actively collaborates with the University of Arizona, contributing
to the Doctoring program and Simlab POCUS training for medical students. He
participated as a national faculty in multiple POCUS workshops.
