Biography

Over 30 years  of experience as a professor at several universities in Colombia and in the U.S. Specialized in language teaching pedagogy. Expertise in the education and supervision in practicum of future language teachers. Skilled in generating new ideas in the field of teaching and learning. Proficient at teaching Spanish and English as a foreign language. Knowledgeable in language research.  Effective project management and team work skills. Leadership skills in curriculum design and organization of immersion language activities and programs.

 

Former Director of DIT (Didactic of English Language and Technology) research group at Universidad Distrital and Colciencias. Director of Pro Modern Languages Department at Universidad Distrital.  Active involvement as visiting professor at Arizona University, in the Faculty of Education. Member of the Accreditation Department conducted by the Ministry of Education and the National Board of Accreditation in Colombia.
