Biography
Jamie Reed is so excited to join University of Arizona as Assistant Professor of Practice of Musical Theatre. An accomplished music director, pianist, arranger, orchestrator, and vocal coach, she holds a Bachelors of Music degree from Western Michigan University. Jamie is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting. She is also resident music director at Mason Street Warehouse in Saugatuck, MI. Additional teaching credits include University of Michigan, Western Michigan University, and Oakland University. MD credits include Memphis, Mamma Mia, The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Received 2017 Wilde Award for Best Music Direction) Cabaret, Assassins, Ain’t Misbehavin, Evita, Altar Boyz, Ain’t Misbehavin, The Full Monty, Murder Ballad, Next To Normal, Rent, West Side Story, Last Five Years, and Lippa’s The Wild Party. National Tour credits: Wicked, Book of Mormon, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast,South Pacific, and Fiddler on the Roof. Jamie’s life revolves around her perfect spunky son, AJ.
