Biography
With a career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Theresa Ricke-Kiely has made significant contributions to nonprofit leadership, management, and mindfulness. Her early work involved supporting and advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, leading to her role as director of a large residential program in New York. In academia, she has taught and administered programs at Marist College, the University of South Carolina Upstate, the University of St Thomas, and the University of Notre Dame, directing the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and teaching in the Mendoza College of Business. Now, she is a faculty member at the University of Arizona's School of Government and Public Policy, teaching leadership and nonprofit management. She is also a “coach-sultant”, providing mindful leadership coaching and nonprofit consulting. An accomplished author, her recent publication, "The Path to Mindful Leadership: Practices for Nonprofit Success," underscores her expertise and commitment to the field.
