Biography
Dr. Lucas was born and raised in Arizona. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended medical school at MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2000-2002 and the University of Arizona College of Medicine from 2002-2004. He did his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona, as well as his Anesthesiology Residency. Dr. Lucas was Administrative Chief Resident for obstetric anesthesiology from 2007-2008. He also did a Liver transplant fellowship at Lahey Medical Center in Boston MA in 2015-16. He is now a faculty member at Banner University Medical Group, Clinical Director of Liver Transplant Anesthesia and Director of the Acute Pain and Regional Anesthesia services.
