Biography
Dr. Flamm has made significant contributions to the education of nurse practitioners, nurse practitioner students and a wide-variety of interprofessional healthcare students and professionals, especially in the area of interprofessional collaborative practice and patient-centered care. She has experience teaching NP students face to face, online and in hybrid approaches. She initiated Zoom conference meetings for FNP students in primary care management courses as a way to engage students and enhance critical thinking skills. Utilizing telehealth technology in the interprofessional clinic she established and managed, Dr. Flamm integrated the education of NP students into the team-based model of patient care. She also was co-developer of an online interprofessional course for advanced practice doctoral nursing students.
Dr. Flamm has presented at regional and national conferences including National Organization for Nurse Practitioner Faculties and various state-level APN organizations.
