Biography

Romi Carrell Wittman in associate profressor of practice and the program director for the College of Applied Science Organizational Leadership + Regional Commerce program. Her research centers around equality through educational access and equity, as well as mentoring, specifically mentoring in the online environment.

Prior to her full-time faculty role, she was the Chief Marketing and Communications officer at Arizona Public Media, the Southern Arizona PBS and NPR affiliate. She also served as adjunct faculty in the Organizational Leadership program for eight years and assisted in transforming the curriculum into an academically rigorous and student-focused program.

She has 20+ years’ experience in marketing and brand management as well as a professional writing background, having published more than 600 articles in a variety of publications including newspapers and trade, business and lifestyle magazines. Ms. Wittman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona (UA), and is a graduate of the UA’s nationally ranked Entrepreneurship Program. She also holds an MBA from the UA’s Eller Graduate School of Management.
