- Burgoon, J. K. (2021). Detecting trust and deception in group interaction. Springer.More infoThe project investigates the role of relational communication in understanding group interaction and in detecting deception. Relational dimensions (1) gauge how group members regard one another without needing to question them directly and (2) whether relational messages predict who is deceptive and who is not. Multimodal behavioral indicators are measured and fused into their constituent relational message themes to predict veracity.
